Built on East Bay NSBE’s legacy of STEM education and community impact, our approach combines technical education, paid work based learning, employer engagement, and wraparound support to reduce barriers to career entry and advancement.
Our apprenticeship development work is focused on creating accessible, industry informed opportunities that prepare participants for long term success.
Current Development Focus
Commercial Drone Pilot
(Pending Registered Apprenticeship | In Development)
Our first workforce initiative currently under development is a Commercial Drone Pilot Registered Apprenticeship designed to create structured entry into emerging commercial drone career opportunities through employer engagement, technical education, and work based learning.
Program development and launch timelines remain dependent on registration approvals, employer participation, funding availability, and operational readiness.

Our Workforce Development Model
Every career pathway developed by Elevation Framework is intended to integrate four core components:
Related Technical Instruction (RTI)
Structured learning is delivered through academic institutions and training partners aligned with industry expectations and credential attainment. Curriculum is designed to support industry standards and lead to stackable credentials, certifications, or even college degrees.
Work Based Learning
Hands on, real world experience delivered alongside employer partners to help participants develop professional and technical competency.
Wraparound Support Services
We support the entire apprentice. Participant centered supports intended to reduce barriers to completion and may include transportation assistance, mentorship, academic support, childcare assistance, food support, housing assistance, housing navigation, and workforce coaching.
Career Advancement Support
Participants continue receiving career advancement support beyond completion through employer introductions, career navigation, continued education opportunities, and professional network development.
